Sunday services and gathering times
Welcome to Barvas Church of Scotland. Join our warm church family in worship each week in the Western Isles. Everyone is welcome to come as they are.
Weekly gatherings
We gather together throughout the week for prayer, praise, and biblical preaching. All visitors, families, and community members are warmly invited to worship with us.
Sunday morning service
Join us at 11:00 am every Sunday for our main morning worship, congregational singing, and faithful Bible teaching.
Sunday evening service
Gather with us at 6:00 pm every Sunday evening for a dedicated time of worship, reflection, and spiritual encouragement.
Wednesday prayer meeting
Meet with us on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm for communal prayer, fellowship, and Scripture study in our church building.
Come as you are
Whether you are visiting the Isle of Lewis or looking for a home church, you will receive a cordial welcome. There is plenty of parking space on site, and there is no formal dress code required.
Sunday school and youth
We love welcoming families. For young people in our congregation, we provide Sunday School and focused Bible study sessions to nurture their faith and understanding in an engaging, caring environment.
Worship with us from home
